Hey Guys,

Along with the Multiplex TwinJet that i had I had also a small beautiful baby waiting to be worked on. Within surely 2 weeks of building the first I was working on the hawk for its maiden last saturday.  The motor was a brushless which carried it fairly well but i think can use a little more speed.

WS 26"
Weight < 500gms
3 cell lipo
Brushless with 6x4 prop changed now to a 6x6 Smiley now at 175W power

This is a cheap brushless motor and ESC combo for 3000/-

Find some pics of the plane

Yes thats me smiling on the crash Smiley nose is easily repairable. Thats what is love about these foamies they let you  fly and crash and fly again. Gives you a much wider envelope of aerobatics and flying to explore w/o being worried about loosing your plane.

Cheers
Sunil

Hi Commander,
The 'lights' are actually drawing pins for the CG point. but that info is definitely interesting to know.

The 'Jets' as such are good fun to fly and the spped they can fly will leave 46 size planes behind. Once you get hooked there is no going back.

Cheers

Hehe,

you mean as in - if you are "in" it then you'r gone HOOK, LINE and SINKER..... Smiley

cheerio..

Commander.

Ps - i guess now all you have to do is flip them pins this way and that and you have a 'scale(r)' looking Hawk... CG and all.
