Indiarc now offers the Edge 540s laser kit for Indian modellers. This is a first in India that any Laser cut kit is available for  an aerobatic plane that is done in India. The kit is made of Imported Balsa and comes with a cowl canopy and Landing gear.

Similar kits cost a minimum of $100 plus you would have to pay the cost of shipping and customs to India really making it quite expensive So check this our http://www.indiarc.com/kits/edge.htm

Hello Sunil,

 Does the edge 540 kit come along with the 4Ch radio and engine ,or do they come seprate from the Kit

 Embarrassedwell well ::)I will have to wait a while till I get my pockets a little lot more full to get airbone! :-/Can it be possible to lay my hands on a second hand engine at a less price or is it advisable to wait a little longer and obtain a brand new shiny engine Cool

jonny,

Avoid used engines as their life is almost 200 hrs or little more,depends on how the engine is runned & the person using it.

Go slow & get the new engine.

My adv to try flying on a simulator,it will give you a hang of how to control flight.learn the basic of aerodynamic of a model & different controls.you need to plan your self ahead the model when it flyies & u must control it & not the model as normally when learning we tend to focus on how to control the plane, te focus must be on direction,speed,smooth turns & to the flying path NEVER FAR AWAY FROM U & most of safe flying in a big empty ground with no crowd-Mid you this is a killer & can damage or kill so learn to control it & u WILL ENJOY IT.

been building two of these for some time now

These are what i call version 2 of the edge 540. Fuse top is more rounded, airfoil is modified further, fuse length increased and host of other changes
